FAQs about Refuge Tornado and Storm Shelters

Is the cost of delivery and installation included in the price? Yes it is! We will deliver and install shelters in Putnam and surrounding counties. We only require a suitable place for installation (example: we are not able to install a shelter in bedrock).

What is not included in installation?  Installation does not include landscaping of affected area, or addition or removal of dirt from the site.

Is a deposit required for ordering a shelter?  Yes, we require a 60% deposit to order your shelter. The shelters take 4-6 weeks to come in.  If during that time you need to cancel your order, there is a 5% restocking fee. If it is too late to cancel your order, you forfeit your deposit.

Are the shelters anchored in the ground? When installed, the shelters are anchored with concrete. This keeps them from shifting over time.

Is there a warranty?  If your shelter develops any cracks or structural problems, the manufacturer will replace it at no cost to you. This includes removal of the faulty shelter and installation of a new one.
